Apprentices work and earn a wage whilst learning new skills and gaining experience on the job, as well as attending college to achieve nationally recognised qualifications. Anyone over the age of sixteen and not in full time education can apply. We have a small number of regular Public Health Support Officer Apprenticeships, which last approximately 15-18 months. However, competition for apprenticeship places is fierce and you will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to be considered for the scheme. An apprenticeship with Public Health England will mean a job with training and prospects. We pay excellent rates to apprentices who are willing to learn and develop their skills to become a valued member of our Business Support Team. Find out more about apprenticeship opportunities on GOV.UK website.

How to apply;
As opportunities become available they are advertised via (NHS Jobs). Successful applicants will attend an interview which will identify your skills and potential in relation to the apprenticeship role. When making an application always remember to match your transferable skills and knowledge to the job requirements and try to give an example of where you have demonstrated your skill or knowledge either at school, college, in training or at work.
